Manthey presents special Le Mans livery for Porsche LMGT3 cars in anniversary year
Manthey celebrates 30 years and Porsche marks 75 years with special LMGT3 livery
Manthey will compete at the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans with a special one‑off livery celebrating two major milestones: 30 years of Manthey Racing and 75 years of Porsche Motorsport. Both Porsche 911 LMGT3 R entries (#91 and #92) will run a heritage‑inspired design that pays tribute to the Porsche 356 SL Coupé, the car that delivered Porsche’s first-ever Le Mans class victory back in 1951.
Manthey and Porsche honour racing heritage with unique Le Mans design
The #91 Manthey DK Engineering car will be driven by James Cottingham, Timur Boguslavskiy and Ayhancan Güven, while the #92 The Bend Manthey entry features Yasser Shahin, Riccardo Pera and Richard Lietz. The design reflects Manthey’s long-standing connection with Porsche Motorsport and highlights the team’s strong history at La Sarthe, including multiple class wins since 1999.
Porsche also underlines a unique statistic: the manufacturer has had at least one car on the Le Mans grid every year since 1951, making it the longest continuous presence in the race’s history. Manthey enters the 2026 edition as the reigning LMGT3 winner and current championship leader with the #92 crew.
24 Hours of Le Mans: 10–14 June
The 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans will take place from 10 to 14 June, with the world’s biggest endurance race once again forming the centrepiece of the FIA World Endurance Championship.
