European Le Mans Series Calendar 2027

The European Le Mans Series has its 2027 calendar: six four-hour races at the same six circuits as this year, from Barcelona in March to Portimão in October. One date has already changed. On 22 September 2026 the organisers moved the season finale at Portimão back two weeks, from Saturday 2 October to Saturday 16 October.

Portimão moves to 16 October

The finale was first planned for Saturday 2 October. After a change to the circuit’s own event calendar, the 4 Hours of Portimão now runs on Saturday 16 October, “to ensure the best possible conditions” for the organisation of the season finale, according to the series. The other five events are unchanged. As in 2026, the last race of the year is held on a Saturday.

The season opens a month earlier

The biggest shift compared with 2026 is at the start. This year’s 4 Hours of Barcelona was raced on 12 April. In 2027 the Barcelona weekend is 12-14 March, straight after the two-day Prologue. Le Castellet, Imola and Spa keep roughly the same weekends as this year, and Silverstone comes about a week earlier.

The 24 Hours of Le Mans falls in the gap between Le Castellet and Imola, as usual. For its date, and for Spa and the Nürburgring, see our 2027 24-hour race dates.

A winter of Le Mans racing in Europe first

The off-season is shorter than usual for European fans. The Asian Le Mans Series 2026/27 moves to Europe this winter, with six four-hour races at Paul Ricard, Jerez and Portimão between November and February. Two of those three circuits are also on the ELMS calendar.

For this year’s dates, race start times and the Portimão finale on 10 October, see the European Le Mans Series calendar 2026. All our ELMS coverage is collected under European Le Mans Series. Other 2027 calendars: GT World Challenge Europe and NLS.
