No ninth weekend after all

The ADAC had looked at a ninth race weekend for 2027, but according to Speedweek the teams were sceptical about the extra cost, so the calendar stays at eight. ADAC motorsport director Thomas Voss said the series relies on popular, proven venues and changes only their order: “The sheer enthusiasm in the stands shows that the DTM is on the road to success and holds great appeal for visitors.”

The opening weekend at the Red Bull Ring is the same weekend as the 6 Hours of Silverstone in the 2027 WEC calendar.
