Formula 1 has officially confirmed that the Las Vegas Grand Prix will remain on the calendar through 2037, following the signing of a major new 10‑year contract extension with Clark County and the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. The deal secures one of the sport’s most spectacular and commercially successful events for more than a decade to come.

Las Vegas Secures Its Future on the F1 Calendar Until 2037

The night race on the iconic Las Vegas Strip has quickly become a cornerstone of F1’s American expansion strategy. Since its return in 2023, the event has delivered a $3.2 billion economic impact for Southern Nevada, with every edition selling out and generating tens of millions in tax revenue. The purpose‑built Grand Prix Plaza has also evolved into a year‑round venue for fan events, education programs and community initiatives.

F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali praised the extension, calling Las Vegas “a global showcase for the sport” and highlighting the race’s unique blend of entertainment, speed and worldwide appeal.

On track, the 6.2 km Strip Circuit has already produced memorable moments, with top speeds exceeding 322 km/h and heavy braking zones that encourage overtaking. Max Verstappen and George Russell have each claimed victories since the event’s return, including a 2024 edition that featured 113 overtakes.

Local officials describe the Grand Prix as an annual global spotlight for the city, an event with the impact of a Super Bowl, but returning every year. With the new agreement in place, Las Vegas is set to remain one of Formula 1’s most high‑profile destinations well into the 2030s.
