After the opener in the south of France, the series moves to Spain. Jerez is a 4.428-kilometre circuit, and both races start at 13:45 local time on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 January, which is 12:45 in the UK, 13:45 CET and 07:45 US Eastern.
The season ends at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, a 4.684-kilometre circuit near Portimão. The races on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 February start at 13:15 local, which is 13:15 in the UK, 14:15 CET and 08:15 US Eastern.
Why the Asian Le Mans Series races in Europe this winter
The series normally races in Asia and the Middle East. ACO president Pierre Fillon pointed to “external constraints that are completely out of our control”, and SRO founder Stéphane Ratel said that “the situation in the Middle East dictated that we worked to find the best solution”, in the calendar announcement. The organisers also mention the limited number of Asian circuits that can host the series, the logistics costs and the need to avoid clashes with Daytona and Bathurst.

Hypercars join, and the champions go to Le Mans
The Hypercar class makes its debut in the series this season, with two Ferrari 499Ps on the entry list alongside LMP2 and GT3. The champions in LMP2 and GT3 receive an automatic invitation to the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June 2027, according to Fillon.
The new Asian Le Mans Cup races at the same events for LMP3 and GT3 cars, with two two-hour races per weekend: Asian Le Mans Cup 2026/27 entry list. The three venues explained: Paul Ricard, Jerez and Portimão.
