WEC Monza 2026 entry list: 35 cars as Toyota’s two crews fight for the title
Seventeen Hypercars and eighteen LMGT3 cars on the provisional list, the #8 Toyota is 17 points clear of the #7, and Mike Conway races for the last time
The FIA World Endurance Championship has published the entry list for the 6 Hours of Monza, and 35 cars will decide the last three open titles of 2026 on 8 November. The provisional list, version 1 of 20 October, has 17 Hypercars and 18 LMGT3 cars. The main story is inside one garage: the #8 Toyota of Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Ryo Hirakawa leads the sister #7 by 17 points.
Monza was never meant to be the finale. In July the FIA and the WEC replaced the Qatar and Bahrain rounds with Barcelona and Monza because of the security situation in the region. Toyota already wrapped up the manufacturers’ title in Barcelona with a one-two (results and standings).
Seventeen points between two Toyotas
On the official standings after Barcelona the #8 crew has 114 points, the #7 crew of Mike Conway, Kamui Kobayashi and Nyck de Vries has 97. A six-hour race pays 25 points for the win and one for Hypercar pole, so 26 is the most anyone can add. Fifth place, worth ten points, is enough for the #8 trio whatever the #7 does.

Monza is also a farewell. The WEC confirms it will be Conway’s final race as a professional driver.
Behind Toyota the fight is for second place among manufacturers: BMW has 154 points, Ferrari 130 and Cadillac 118. BMW’s #15 crew of Kevin Magnussen, Raffaele Marciello and Dries Vanthoor and the #20 of Robin Frijns, René Rast and Sheldon van der Linde are the next best drivers in the table. Full tables: FIA WEC standings 2026.
Hirakawa has a busy fortnight. Haas runs him in first practice at the Mexico City Grand Prix this Friday, eight days before he can clinch the world title at Monza.
Four LMGT3 crews still in it
In LMGT3 the TF Sport Corvette #33 leads. Jonny Edgar tops the drivers’ table with 92 points, four ahead of team-mate Nicky Catsburg. The Bend Manthey Porsche #92 of Yasser Shahin, Riccardo Pera and Richard Lietz has 74, the Racing Team Turkey by TF Corvette #34 has 70 and the WRT BMW #69 has 66. With 26 points available, the WRT crew needs almost everything to go its way.

Our arithmetic
Seventeen points sounds like a cushion, but in Barcelona the #7 climbed from ninth on the grid to second, which shows how fast that car can be in race trim. To take the title, the #7 realistically needs a win and pole with the #8 sixth or lower. A reliability problem or one bad stint in GT3 traffic is all it takes, so the pressure sits with the #8, which only needs a clean, ordinary race. We expect Toyota to let both cars race on Conway’s last day at work: settling a title by team order on a driver’s farewell would not look good for anyone.
How the classes and Hyperpole work: FIA WEC explained.
Hyperpole on Saturday, the race at 11:00 on Sunday
Practice starts on Friday 6 November. The Hypercar Hyperpole is on Saturday 7 November at 15:20 local time and CET (09:20 ET). The 6 Hours of Monza starts on Sunday 8 November at 11:00 local time and CET, which is 05:00 ET, and finishes at 17:00 CET (11:00 ET). Next season starts with nine rounds: WEC 2027 calendar.
