Asian Le Mans Cup entry list: 18 cars and seven champion teams for the first season
Eight LMP3 Pro cars, four LMP3 cars and six GT3 cars race at Paul Ricard, Jerez and Portimão, with GT World Challenge teams AF Corse, Herberth and Razoon in GT3
The first Asian Le Mans Cup will start with 18 full-season entries, the series confirmed on 21 October. The provisional entry list has eight cars in LMP3 Pro, four in LMP3 and six in GT3, and seven of the teams arrive as champions of the Asian Le Mans Series or the Michelin Le Mans Cup.
The Cup races on the same weekends as the Asian Le Mans Series: Paul Ricard on 13 to 15 November, Jerez on 15 to 17 January and Portimão on 19 to 21 February, with two two-hour races at each event. The main series calendar and its 47 cars are in our season overview, the three tracks in our circuit guide.
LMP3 moves out as the Hypercars move in
This winter the Asian Le Mans Series runs Hypercar, LMP2 and GT3. According to the series website, the Cup was created because Hypercar enters the Asian Le Mans Series in 2026/27, and it is modelled on the Michelin Le Mans Cup in Europe. Platinum-rated drivers are not eligible, and every GT3 line-up must include at least one bronze driver.
Frédéric Lequien, CEO of the Asian Le Mans Series, said on the series website: “We are confident that the Asian Le Mans Cup will attract more teams and drivers to compete”. He described the Cup as a first step on the ladder towards “the ultimate goal of competing in the FIA WEC and at the 24 Hours of Le Mans”.

Provisional entry list, Asian Le Mans Cup 2026/27, published 21 October 2026. Drivers have not been announced yet.
CLX Motorsport, last season’s Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champion, brings three cars: the #17 in LMP3 Pro and the #86 and #87 in LMP3. R-ace GP, the reigning Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion, has the only Duqueine on the grid. Bretton Racing (Asian Le Mans Series LMP3 champion in 2024/25), Team Virage (Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 champion in 2023), two 23Events Racing cars, GMS and Gebhardt Motorsport complete LMP3 Pro.
In LMP3, Motorsport 98, Michelin Le Mans Cup LMP3 Pro/Am champion in 2025 and 2026, faces the two CLX cars and Brutal Fish Campos Racing.
Three GT World Challenge teams in GT3
The GT3 class has three Porsche 911s, two Aston Martin Vantages and one Ferrari 296. Racing Spirit of Léman arrives as the 2026 Michelin Le Mans Cup GT3 champion, AF Corse as the 2025 Michelin Le Mans Cup champion.
AF Corse, Herberth Motorsport and Razoon – more than racing all raced in the GT World Challenge Europe this year. Herberth is the busiest of the three this winter: besides its two Cup cars, it enters a Porsche in the Asian Le Mans Series itself.
Our hunch: LMP3 Pro is the class to watch
Eight cars, four teams with an LMP3 title to their name and almost identical machinery: LMP3 Pro looks like the tightest fight of the whole winter. R-ace GP’s Duqueine is the one car that is different, and after its Michelin Le Mans Cup title it is the obvious benchmark for the Ligiers.
GT3 is smaller, but Herberth’s two cars give the German team a numbers advantage over single entries from AF Corse, Razoon, Racing Spirit of Léman and E2P Racing.
Driver line-ups next, first races at Paul Ricard on 13 to 15 November
The list is provisional and the teams still have to announce their drivers. The first two races of the Asian Le Mans Cup run at Le Castellet in just over three weeks, on the same weekend as the opening four-hour races of the Asian Le Mans Series.
