GT3 Revival Series Nürburgring 2026: the full weekend programme
The Nürburgring round of the GT3 Revival Series was the headline act of a busy weekend at one of motorsport’s greatest venues, from 28 to 30 August 2026. Alongside it ran GT World Challenge’s Endurance Cup, Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the Mazda MX-5 Cup Benelux. Below are the full timetable and the results of both Revival races.

The action starts on Friday 28 August. The Revival field went out twice, with a Free Practice session from 10:50 to 11:35 and then a Pre-Qualifying run from 15:45 to 16:30. Sandwiched around those sessions are two rounds of free practice for both the Lamborghini Super Trofeo and the Mazda MX-5 Cup Benelux. GT World Challenge fills the middle of the day with a Paid Test at 11:45, followed by a Bronze Test at 16:40. Friday is all about getting dialled in. Saturday is where it gets serious.

Saturday: GT3 Revival Series qualifying and Race 1
Saturday is a ten-session day, and the GT3 Revival Series qualifying went at 09:00. Race 1 follows at 13:50, and this one has real championship stakes attached to it. If Jean-Luc Beaubelique finishes ahead of Stephan Joebstl, he clinches the Pro-Am title with a round to spare. That’s the kind of storyline you clear your Saturday afternoon for.
You can watch Race 1 completely free on the English livestream, with live timing running alongside it. GT World Challenge runs two free practice sessions on Saturday, with the second one at 16:15 and televised. Both Lamborghini Super Trofeo and Mazda MX-5 Cup Benelux also run their Race 1 on Saturday, so the day is absolutely packed from start to finish. If you’re trackside, VIP laps run at 17:55 and there’s a pit walk with pit stop practice at 18:30. Don’t miss that.
Sunday: GT World Challenge Endurance Cup three-hour race
Sunday brings six live sessions and three hours of racing to close out the weekend. The GT World Challenge Endurance Cup takes centre stage with its multi-part qualifying format kicking off at 09:45, ahead of the race itself getting underway at 15:00. Three hours around the Nürburgring. That’s a proper race.
Before the big one, the Revival cars wrapped up their weekend with Race 2 at 11:25. This is the second and last race of the Nürburgring weekend, and with only Barcelona remaining on the calendar after this, every position matters. Watch it free again on the English livestream with live timing.
There’s also an autograph session at 12:30 on the paddock side, so if you’re at the circuit that’s your chance to get up close to the drivers. VIP laps and a pit walk follow at 13:45, giving you a great way to soak in the atmosphere before the GT World Challenge main event fires up in the afternoon.
Saturday results: qualifying and Race 1
Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Jim Pla put the #87 Ferrari 458 GT3 EVO on pole for Race 1, and then never got to use it. Contact at turn one ended their afternoon after eight laps, and the car was classified as a non-finisher.
Race 1 went to Christoph von Oeynhausen. The #888 Classic & Speed BMW Z4 GT3 led home Heiko Neumann’s Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 by 3.801s, with Nick Padmore third in the TFT Racing Audi R8 LMS Ultra.
Because Von Oeynhausen races in Pro-Am, the overall win is the class win too, and that is the part that hurts. Mark Cole and Alvaro Parente were second in class in the #47 Quinntec Racing Audi, and Stephan Joebstl shared third in class with William Nuthall in the #52 Michelotto Ferrari, sixth overall.
Race 1, top three overall:
- #888 Christoph von Oeynhausen — Classic & Speed, BMW Z4 GT3 (Pro-Am), 24 laps
- #65 Heiko Neumann — Team Motopark, Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 (Am), +3.801s
- #1 Nick Padmore — TFT Racing, Audi R8 LMS Ultra (Am), +13.660s
Race 1, top three in Pro-Am:
- #888 Christoph von Oeynhausen — Classic & Speed
- #47 Mark Cole and Alvaro Parente — Quinntec Racing
- #52 Stephan Joebstl and William Nuthall — Michelotto
Joebstl scored, Beaubelique did not. The Pro-Am lead is cut rather than confirmed, and the fight runs on to Race 2 on Sunday with the Barcelona finale still to come.
All classifications are provisional.
Sunday results: Race 2 and the Endurance Cup
Christoph von Oeynhausen made it two from two. The #888 Classic & Speed BMW Z4 GT3 won Race 2 as well, this time by 0.769s from Nick Padmore’s TFT Racing Audi after 24 laps.
Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Jim Pla salvaged what they could, taking third overall in the #87 Storic and Race Cars Ferrari 458 GT3 EVO and setting the fastest lap of the race on the way, a 1:57.982. Stephan Joebstl and William Nuthall did not see the flag: the #52 Michelotto Ferrari was classified NC.
Race 2, top three overall:
- #888 Christoph von Oeynhausen — Classic & Speed, BMW Z4 GT3 (Pro-Am), 24 laps
- #1 Nick Padmore — TFT Racing, Audi R8 LMS Ultra (Am), +0.769s
- #87 Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Jim Pla — Storic and Race Cars, Ferrari 458 GT3 EVO (Pro-Am), +3.247s
Race 2, top three in Pro-Am:
- #888 Christoph von Oeynhausen — Classic & Speed
- #87 Jean-Luc Beaubelique and Jim Pla — Storic and Race Cars
- #47 Mark Cole and Alvaro Parente — Quinntec Racing
Endurance Cup: the three-hour race
Comtoyou Racing won the afternoon. Mattia Drudi, Marco Sorensen and Nicki Thiim took the #7 Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO to the flag after 83 laps, 5.751s clear of the Team WRT BMW, with the Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing car a further half-second back. The top four covered less than seven seconds after three hours.
Three hours at the Nürburgring, top three:
- #7 Mattia Drudi, Marco Sorensen and Nicki Thiim — Comtoyou Racing, Aston Martin Vantage AMR GT3 EVO (Pro Cup), 83 laps
- #32 Kelvin van der Linde, Jordan Pepper and Charles Weerts — Team WRT, BMW M4 GT3 EVO (Pro Cup), +5.751s
- #3 Daniel Juncadella, Chris Lulham and Jules Gounon — Mercedes-AMG Team Verstappen Racing, Mercedes-AMG GT3 EVO (Pro Cup), +6.243s
Pro-Am title: settled
The series championship page now reads Beaubelique 152 points, Joebstl 64. That is a gap of 88 with one round to run, and Barcelona can pay a single driver 52 at most — two pole points and two race wins. Joebstl cannot close it. The Pro-Am fight between the two is over, and Beaubelique has the title.
The only driver still mathematically within reach of him is Jim Pla on 101, 51 points back — his own co-driver in the #87.
So the weekend that looked like it might unravel for Beaubelique on Saturday instead handed him the championship on Sunday, while Von Oeynhausen walked away with a clean double and second place in the standings looking very winnable. Barcelona is now a dead rubber at the top of Pro-Am, but not much below it: Von Oeynhausen, Cole and Parente are separated by 21 points, and Padmore and Neumann have both shown this weekend they are quick enough to take a win off anyone. Beaubelique gets to enjoy the trip.

One weekend, four championships at the Nürburgring
Across the full weekend this round gives you two free-to-watch races, a genuine title decider in Race 1, and a Barcelona finale still to come for whoever survives. The championship fight between Beaubelique and Joebstl is the thread running through Saturday’s race, and it gives it that edge you can’t manufacture.
Combine that with the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup on Sunday and you’ve got a weekend that genuinely delivers at every level. Multi-class action, real stakes, free livestreaming and one of the best circuits in the world. It is exactly what modern GT racing at its best should look like.
All times listed are local CEST. The full weekend schedule is available via the official series channels.
