Le Mans 24 Hours: Standings Update With 10 Hours to Go

With ten hours remaining in the 2026 24 Hours of Le Mans, the race is entering its decisive stretch. The night delivered drama, momentum swings and strategic gambles and the fight for overall victory remains wide open. Le Mans 10 hours to go:

Cadillac and Toyota Trade Blows

The halfway stage saw Toyota’s #8 briefly lose its advantage after Brendon Hartley ran wide at Mulsanne, handing momentum to the Cadillac Hertz Team JOTA entries. Both the #12 and #38 Cadillacs ran at the front during the night, even holding a 1–2 formation before Toyota fought back.

BMW Stays in the Hunt

BMW’s #20 maintained a steady presence in the top four, keeping the leaders within reach through the early morning hours. The #7 Toyota also climbed forward after a strong move on the #101 Cadillac at Mulsanne Corner just before the 12‑hour mark.

Ferrari and Genesis Hit Trouble

Ferrari’s #50 dropped out of contention after losing eight laps due to a fire‑extinguisher issue, while Genesis Magma Racing’s promising debut was interrupted when the #19 stopped on the Mulsanne Straight before rejoining.

As the race heads into its final ten hours, the gaps remain tight, strategies continue to diverge, and the leading contenders are far from settled. Plenty can and almost certainly will, still happen at Le Mans.
